CORDIS platform features article about BreedingValue training events

An article about the most recent training event, workshop and field visit organised by BreedingValue has just been featured by CORDIS. The Community Research and Development Information Service (CORDIS) is the European Commission's primary source of results from the projects funded by the EU's framework programmes for research and innovation. The mission of CORDIS is to bring research results to professionals in the field to foster open science, create innovative products and services and stimulate growth across Europe.

The News article highlights that with aim to help European berry breeders and other stakeholders develop their skills and knowledge, BreedingValue has held a number of workshops and training sessions over the past 3 years since its start in 2021. Among them, the most recent project events organised in February 2024. The article describes the training on sensory and consumer methods organised at the end of February 2024 in Bologna (Italy) as part of the BreedingValue’s Open Call no 4 activities. Furthermore, it refers to the field demonstration visit and the workshop on genomic tools on berry pre-breeding material taking place from 13th-14th February 2024 in Bordeaux (France) which attracted more than 120 participants from Europe and beyond.
